Horse and Pony riding
Restrictions
It is very complicated to set up a horse riding activity because legislation is very strict.
Some restrictions:
- The moniter must adapt the outing to the level of the most inexperienced rider ; people are often disappointed with their outing as they were not able to do the things they were capable of.
- The moniter cannot let you set off without the basic equipment, ie. boots and riding helmet. We have a few pairs of boots that we can lend you if we have your size, but this isn’t always the case.
If you are a keen rider, bring your own gear and book your outings or lessons as soon as you arrive.
Where you can ride
There are 3 possible locations for horse riding.
*At the Open-Air Centre at Chambon (just next to the campsite) ; you have to go there to book.
*At Ranch L, (about 12km away). Book there or by phone. They take all levels of riders.
*At Haras in St.Estephe (17 km). Book there or by phone. They take all levels of riders.
