Hot Air Ballooning

You can book a trip in a Hot Air Balloon.
You start the trip at the campsite.
Lift-off is usually in early morning or early evening.
Prices: These are about 180€ per person for 1 hour’s flight.

Archery

You can do archery as part of the Open-Air Centre’s summer programme or with the Active Summer organisation (limited places).

Lake swimming

There are 3 lakes near the campsite

• The lakes of the Haute Charente (53 km), with the beach at La Guerlie – you can hire pedalos and sailing boats; there’s no shade here.
• The lake at St.Mathieu (28 km) is very pleasant and has a beach with plenty of shade. You can also cycle or walk all the way round the lake
• The lake at St.Estèphe (17 km). The beach has just been completely redone with dappled shade near the water’s edge, plus sun loungers, refreshment stand and a fast-food stand).
